 Green Development Index of Power Supply

Abstract:  ABSTRACT: In power system construction, power source planning is significant. In order to explore the further sustainable development space of different types of power sources, selecting typical projects, this paper adopts life cycle assessment (LCA) method to establish the input-output inventory, and proposes the green development index model for different power generations, which covers energy, resources and environment in three dimensions and takes into account the land occupation, output guarantee and other benefits. Through the typical engineering application of thermal power, hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic power generation, the green development index of A-H power station is 0.34, 0.35, 0.83, 0.45, 0.41, 0.46, 0.21 and 0.26 respectively. Power stations with higher indices correspond to just like C, D, E and F is the object for the further development under this scheme. The idea and model of the green development index of power supply may provide useful theoretical support for the development and selection of power supply in the future.
